A Few Words About Us

Following in their grandparents footsteps, the brother and sister team of Mel and Lynn Blimkie opened "A Sense of Country" on July 30, 2011.

Their goal was to provide shoppers with old fashioned personable service, unique products, the old general store feel and primitive décor. They have succeeded; some say surpassed their goal. They have created a decor that will provide you with a unique shopping experience time and time again.

A Sense of Country is proud to present two videotaped interviews with CTV Morning Live's host Sarah Freemark in    addition to the MyFm Renfrew interview.
